The project aims to enhance adult education using Game-based Learning and Serious Play in order to optimize learner engagement and create a boredom-free training environment which promotes critical thinking and successful learning experiences.

Learner engagement is crucial in adult education.  The level of motivation learners usually show when engaged in learning activities reflects their commitment and maximizes the learning outcomes they eventually achieve. In fact, adult training becomes effective and meaningful to people, when they engage in valuable experiences associated with their needs and priorities and promoting their personal development.
